There are many Sunscreens on the market but which one to choose?
products which block UVA radiation will provide some protection from Melanoma and Light sensitivity. Products which block UVB radiation provide protection from sunburn, skin cancer, tanning and skin aging. There are physical(or mineral) screens which reflect sunlight (Titanium Dioxide and Zinc oxides) or chemical sunscreens that absorb sunlight.
A broad spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen is a sensible option to prevent premature skin aging and provide protection from the suns harmful rays. Factor 15 is recommended in teh winter and factor 30-40 during spring to summer months. Sunscreen ideally should be applied in a thick layer every 2hours.
